Project Qeqesha is an initiative that aims at challenging the status quo by addressing components that affect female student education in rural and impoverished communities of Zimbabwe.
Operating in communities with relatively low female student enrolment and pass rates, Project Qeqesha’s goal is to facilitate better access to education for female students and equip them with skillsets and experiences that aid in the fight against gender disparities, poverty, teenage pregnancy, child marriages amongst others, through the provision of intensive mentorship programs, sterilized reusable sanitary products, and income-generating ventures.
